Red blood cell (RBC) is one of the components of our blood. It is very essential for our body because it carries haemoglobin, which carries oxygen to our body tissues. It also gives the blood it's red colour. RBC also removes carbon dioxide from our body through the lungs by the process called diffusion. The RBCs are produced by bone marrow present inside of our bones. Hence, it is an important component of blood and our body.

Hope it helps ya :-)
