What is mean by this. Explain briefly .A vertical force does not work on a horrizontally displaced object . This is because the displacement of the object , in the direction of the force, is zero

cuz the force is perpendicular to the gravitational force.

SAMiTUP: well.... imagine if you are lying on the ground.then if someone pushes you from front or back or sideways or diagonally or from under, then you will move.But if some one pushes you from up then you'll not move.That's what this answer means..
