Vapour density = (density of gas)/density of hydrogen gas
=> Vapour density = (M/Vm)/(2/Vm), here M is molar mass of gas in g, 2 is molar mass of H2 gas and Vm volumes of gases
So, Vapour density = molar mass of gas/2
Vapour density is a unitless quantity
For example :
Vapour density of CO2 is (12+32)/2
VAPOUR DENSITY ❤️❤️
The ratio of the density of a gas or vapour to that of hydrogen at the
same temperature and pressure.
V.D.=( mass of x molecules of gas / mass of x molecules of hydrogen).
