You have been mistaken I guess Diya. there is no such word as osbow lake its known as oxbow lake.A meander, in general, is a bend in a sinuous watercourse or river. A meander forms when moving water in a stream erodes the outer banks and widens its valley, and the inner part of the river has less energy and deposits silt.

An oxbow lake is a U shaped body of water that forms when a wide meander from the main stem of a river is cut off, creating a free-standing body of water

The relationship between a meander and oxbow lake:- As the river cuts across the narrow neck of a meander, the river bend becomes an oxbow lake, which becomes an oxbow swamp, which becomes a meander scar

hope this information helps you. If you need anything you can count on me.
