1)carbohydrates are known as sugars.
carbohydrates are classified into polyhydroxylated aldehydes and polyhydroxylated ketones.
2)the molecular formula of glucose is C6H12O6. the structure is in the shape of a ring. one hydroxyl group and one hydrogen attach to each of the carbon.
4. monosaccharides are carbohydrates which cannot be broken down into simpler oes whereas disaccharides can be broken down into monosaccharides by loss of water molecule.(dehydration)
monosaccharides are glucose and fructose
disaccharides are sucrose,etc.

Carbohydrates also clled as sugars.
Carbohydrates are polyhydroxylated aldehydes or polyhydroxylated ketones
Molecular formula of glucose : C6H12O6 (D-Glucose)
The structure of a glucose is like a hexagon with 6 equal sides. Its looks like a rough circle.
Monosaccharides are nothing but usual carbohydrates and disaccharides is also carbohydrates like monosaccharides but its made up with 2 monosaccharides. Thats why monosaccharides cannot be broken where disaccharides can.
Example of monosaccharides are : Glucose , Fructose, Ribose and Deoxyribose etc.
Example of disaccharides are : Maltose (2 glucose), Lactose (Glucose + galactose) etc.
