Hi there!

✨ Advance Sunrise & Delayed Sunset:

The sun is visible to us two minutes before the actual sunrise and about two minutes after the actual sunset.

This is because of Atmospheric refraction.
When sun is slightly below horizon, the sunlight coming from less dense to more dense air is, Refracted downwards.

Because of this,
Sun appears to be raised above the horizon and so can be seen about two minutes before actual sunrise.

Similarly,
due to Atmospheric refraction, the sun can be seen for two minutes even after the Sun has set below horizon.

Cheers!
