They were excluded from public places in white areas, unless they were passing through on the way to work. blacks could only attend certain schools that didnt teach what the white schools taught which meant the blacks will have an inferior education and inferior jobs while the whites had superior education and jobs. in response to this everyone who wasnt white, launched protests and marches and strikes.
