Arboreal animals are those animals who are in the trees. They spend most of their time in tree. They eat, play and sleep in trees. There are thousands of species who are arboreal.
Many of the arboreal animals have elongated limbs and also have tails called prehensile tails. They have claws to grip onto branches. Small arboreal animals can go to smaller branches too which can't bear the weight of bigger animals.
Examples: Monkeys, Koalas, tree snakes
