The ocean currents that flows from the polar area towards the equator are cooler compared to the surrounding water ,so they are called cold currents

A warm currents is a seasonal directed movement of sea water generated by force acting upon this mean flow , such as wind, the Coriolis effect, braking wave ,cabbing, temperature and salinity diffrances , while tide are cause by the gravitational pull Of the sun and moon.
