IN DARK PHASE CO2 IS REDUCED TO GLUCOSE BY MEANS OF ENERGY ATP AND REDUCING POWER (NADPH) PRODUCED DURING LIGHT REACTION.FOR DARK REACTION THERE IS NO NEED OF LIGHT,HENCE CALLED DARK REACTION.THIS PROCESS OCCURS IN THE STROMA OF PROTOPLAST.
