what is meant by frigid,tempreate and torrid zones of the earth?

The Frigid zone: The region of Earth that is cold especially in the Arctic or Antarctic Circles.

The temperate zone: The region between the Arctic Circle and Tropic of Cancer.

And the torrid zone is the area of earth that is between the tropics of cancer and the Capricorn.
