There are many different changes are happening in different substances due to various physical or chemical reasons.

And if the effects of a change on a substance are not removable then the change will be known as the irreversible change which means we cannot regain the initial substance before the change took place ,the modification in the substance is permanent.

For example:

1) Rusting on the iron surface.

2) Spoilage of the food materials.

3) Combustion of the fuel materials.

And many more.
