The Minimum distance between the object and the eye to see it clearly is called least distance of distinct vision. As a person grows old this may decrease due to the thickening of the eye lens. This condition is also called as hypermetropia. It can be corrected using bi focal lens, which is a combination of both convex lens and concave lens.
