macro paradox (plural not attested) The paradox whereby aid agencies report the success of most of their programs, yet it is impossible to establish any significant correlation between aid and GDP growth in developing countries.
Various aid programmes (International mainly) are an example for this paradox. For example, there are various aid programmes in which donor agencies report success in their projects but at the Macro scale the nation's GNP / GDP remain as usual. This can be result of various leakages in the aid projects or Macro variables measurement etc.
