This has reference to the popular story named The Curved Ball written by Rita Pinheiro. The scene describes that  Meena woke up from her bed on the 6th day morning and began to talk without any sense.

She stared her at her left side and went on saying the words  "Pay too" while unusually smiling for a long time. Raju pulled Sunil aside and stated that they had a dog whose name is  "Paytoo" when Meena was in her childhood.

Probably, she at that time was remembering the dog at the time. Due to this reason, the sentence 'Meena never had anything positive to say' was written.
