Myopia is the defect of the eye vision due to which a person can see the near by objects clearly but cannot see the far objects so distinctly. Causes of myopia: Myopia is caused:—due to the elongation of the eyeball. —due to decrease in the focal length of the eye lens

What is Myopia?
- Myopia, also known as nearsightedness, is a condition when the eyes start to lose their ability to focus upon far objects.
- Objects that are near are clearly visible whereas distant objects aren't clearly visible to the person who suffers this.
- Most of the people who wear glasses face this condition whereas others face another condition called hyperopia (far objects are clearly visible whereas near objects are not clearly visible).

The cause for myopia is one of the below -:
- One natural factor that causes myopia can be hereditary or genetics. A person can inherit this condition from the parents.
