Hey !
Here is your answer !!!
________________

▶ Osmosis --- Osmosis is the movement of water molecules from the region of higher concentration to the region of lower concentration through a semipermeable membrane !!

▶Isotonic -- the relative concentration of water molecules and the solute on either side of the cell membrane is the same in such a solution there is no net movement of water molecules across the cell membrane that is no osmosis

▶ Hypo tonic -- in this condition the solution outside the cell has a lower solute concentration than the fluid inside the cell as a result the water molecules from outside will move into the cell (endosmosis)

▶ Hyper tonic --- in this condition the solution outside the cell has a highest solute concentration than the fluid inside the cell consequently the water molecules from the interior of the cell will move out that is exosmosis

_______

Hope it's helpful !!☺

Hey!

movement of a solvent (such as water) through a semipermeable membrane (as of a living cell) into a solution of higher solute concentration that tends to equalize the concentrations of solute on the two sides of the membrane.
