It is the process in which a matter which is in the state of solid directly changes to gaseous state without converting itself into liquid.


e.g.
Camphor
Incense sticks etc

The property of any matter to get vapourised or turn into vapours when left at room temperature. Ex:-- you must have observed when we put naphthalene balls anywhere after sometime it disappears this is bcoz it gets sublime in the atmosphere.   Hope it helps!!
