Sustainable development is a type of development through which the needs of the future generation are kept in mind and the needs of the present generation are not met.

• Increasing demand for alternative energy - Reducing the use of various conventional energy of the present generation to increase the use of unconventional energy or alternative energy such as solar energy, wind energy or tidal energy so that the energy resources required for future generations survive.
• Prevention of Waste- Special care needs to be taken to prevent wastage so that energy can be generated with less amount of raw material by reducing the use of conventional energy.
