Terminating decimal is a decimal number that has digits that don't go on forever.
example - 0.45 ( it has two decimal digits)

When the decimal expansion of a/b and b < 0 and the quotient comes to an end, then the expansion is called Terminating Decimal.


Illustration:
* 6.897 is a terminating decimal as the unit digit is 7.
* 5.333333..... is not an terminating decimal as it is going continuously without an end.
