Dear friend,

It is an enclosure or small area inside a glass fronted case or box which is especially for small animals such as amphibians, reptiles, or terrestrial invertebrates.

It is as same as aquarium for water and terrarium for land. An aquarium is for water animals and a terrarium is for small land animals.
