cell division means the splitting of one cell in two identical copies it is necessary for growth and repair in multicellular organisms there are two types of cell division miosis and mitosis division and meiosis is a type of division that results in four daughter cells with each with half the number of chromosomes of the parent cell and mitosis is a type of cell division that results into daughter cells each having the same number and kind of chromosomes aastha parent nucleus.......
