✒Shearing: Shearing is when the animals fleece is cut off; this does not hurt them.
✒ Scouring: Before yarn can be spun, the raw wool is scoured to remove dirt, grease and sweat.
✒SHEARING=THE PROCESS OF SHAVING OFF A SHEEP'S BODY TO OBTAIN FLEECE ALONGWITH A THIN LAYER OF SKIN IS CALLED SHEARING.
✒ SCOURING=THE SHEARED SKIN WITH HAIR IS THOROUGHLY WASHED IN SOAP SOLUTION TO REMOVE DIRT,GREESEAND DUST. THIS PROCESS IS CALLED SCOURING. SORTING=THE DRIED HAIR OF DIFFERENT TEXTURE ARE SORTED OUT.
