Answer :

The relationship between two systems connected only by a diathermic wall.

When a two objects are in physical contact, when  the two bodies have different temperature then the temperature will transport to high temperature body to low temperature body  , after some time then the to bodies temperature will be same.this is said to be the to bodies are in thermal equilibrium.

ex :-

Our legs [ BECAUSE OUR TO LEGS TEMPERATURE WILL BE SAME].

Thermal equilibrium means “Temperature gradient is zero”.

-Suppose we have metal bar and is heated and then we keep it our in room (room temperature).

-After sometime the bar will have same temperature at every point on it.

-There is no gradient of temperature , No heat exchange between bar and surrounding.
