✔️ velocity is defined as the rate of change of displacement with time.

✔️velocity is a vector quantity because it includes both magnitude and direction.

✔️ velocity can be positive, negative or zero

✔️ knowledge of velocity can tell us the exact position of body after a given time.

✔️velocity =displacement / time

✔️Ex - if a car travels 15m on a straight road in 5s,
then its velocity = 15/5 = 3 m/s
