What is mechanism of gaseous exchange in plants ?.

In plants the exchange of gases takes place through the stomatal appartus that consists of 1 stomatal pore, 2 guard cells surrounded by subsidiary cells.
the plants take in carbon dioxide which is necessary for the photosynthesis for plants to make food.
they give out oxygen which help in the survival of organisms.
