Menstruation is a woman's monthly bleeding cycle. When a woman menstruates, their body usually sheds the uterus lining.

This blood flows from uterus through the cervix that is the small opening and finally passes out through vagina.

Most menstrual cycle lasts from 3 to 5 days.

menstrual cycle is a time span in women's when a women is able to produce eggs which are ready for fertilization. in this the egg matures and remains in the women's body for 8-10 days, and if during that time the egg is not fertilized, then the egg breaks and comes out in form of blood, along with the thick lining produced in the body.

hope it helps.....
