menstruation is when blood and tissue from your uterus comes out of your vagina. It usually happens every month for girls.

Ovulation is when a mature egg is released from the ovary, pushed down the fallopian tube, and is made available to be fertilized.

 \boxed{\mathbb{MENSTRUATION}}

The periodic discharge of the blood, mucus, unfertilised egg and other substances from the Vagina is called as menstruation.

Menstruation is a periodic event which takes place every month.

When the egg is released from the Ovaries, the uterus prepares itself to receive a fertilized egg.

The uterus thickens and blood capillaries are lined along the uterus which makes it thick, soft and moist.

But,

In case the egg is not fertilized, the entire lining of uterus starts shedding. The blood capillaries begin to disintegrate due to less supply of blood to them.

This flow of blood, mucus, unfertilised egg and other substances which are discharged is know as menstruation.
