\sf\red{Mensuration:-}

The simple definition of Mensuration is to measure any surface area.

In mathematics it is computing the lenghts, height, breadth ,volume,etc.of the given objects.

Some common Points to remember:-

Area of trapezium=\frac{1}{2}×height×sum\:of\: parallel\:lines

Area of rhombus=half the product of its diagonals.

Surface area of any solid is the sum of the areas of all its faces.

Surface area of:-

  • Cuboid=2(lb+bh+lh)[l=lenght,b=breadth,h=height]
  • Cube=6a²,[a=side of cube]
  • Cylinder=2πrh[r=radius of the base of cylinder and h=height of cylinder]

Volume of:-

  • Cuboid=lbh
  • Cube=a³
  • Cylinder=πr²h
