MEIOSIS IS A CELL DIVISION BY WHICH THE CHROMOSOMES NUMBER IS REDUCED BY HALF AND ALSO IN THIS CELL DIVISION ONE CELL IS DIVIDED INTO FOUR CELLS SUCH THAT FOUR CELLS ARE PRODUCED WHICH CONTAINS THE HALF ORIGINAL AMOUNT OF THE DNA/GENETICAL INFORMATION..
