1. democracy is for the people. hence, it's a more accountable form of government.

2. democracy corrects all it's mistakes on time.

3. in a democratic government, free and fair elections are held.

4. each and every adult citizen have right to vote and each vote has equal value no matter whether they are rich or poor, educated or not educated etc.

5. all decisions in a democracy are taken by a long discussion. i.e it improves the quality of decision making.
