Hey mate,. Here is your answer metals are electropositive elements which attract negative charge and non metals are electronegative elements which attract positive charge eg are as metals - sodium , magnesium and non metals like oxygen whereas metalloids shows properties of both metals and non metals eg like germanium and gallium etc...

=>Metals are the elements,which are very hard, lustrous,good conductors of heat as well as electricity,ductile, malleable.
They are generally solid as room temperature except Mercury(it is liquid at room temperature)
Example:-Copper, iron etc

=>Non-metals are just opposite of metals like they are not hard, nor lustrous, bad conductors of heat as well as electricity,not ductile, nor malleable.
Example:-Bromine, Nitrogen etc

=>Metalloid are the elements which have property in between metals and non-metals.
Example:-Silicon, Boron etc
