Today I. have completed the whole chapter and done around 200+ questions let me help you in this question
Metallurgy :- Process of obtaining metal from the ore is known as metallurgy
Different steps are involved in the extraction of metals from its ores depending upon it reactive state.
-> In highly reactive metal, we need to use Electrolytic Reduction in order to obtain metal from it
-> For medium reactive metal, we need to convert the ores into metal oxide (easy process).
-> If it is in Carbonate state we will use calcination to obtain the metal oxide
->If it is in sulphide state we will use roasting process in order to obtain the metal oxide
After converting the metal oxide, we need to so the reduction then we will get the metal and after that we will do the refining of the metal by electrolytic process
-> For Least reactive metal we just need to convert the ore into metal oxide by the help of roasting and do the refining process and it's done
This is the whole process to obtain the metals from the ores.
