\textbf{\underline{\underline{Question:-}}}

What is micro evolution?

Does it explain speciation?

Explain with examples of pure speciation evolving around earth.

\textbf{\underline{\underline{Answer:-}}}

Micro evolution refers to small hereditary changes taking place

within a population of organisms due to mutations and recombination,

resulting in the Formation of slightly differing new Varieties.

Speciation is the fact that two isolated populations

of a same species give birth to two different species.

Microevolution is all about how does populations differs from each others.

The speciation can be considered as the link between

microevolution and macroevolution.

An example of speciation is the Galápagos finch

The hawthorn fly is an example of sympatric speciation

The most common example of behavioral isolation is mating calls.

vanshmadan: can you pls explain more logically?
vanshmadan: thanks by the way
vanshmadan: but I'm not satisfied and understood completely

Hello❤️

MICROEVOLUTION:- Microevolution simply means the process of evolution but happening slowly. If we go according to its definition.. it tells us that the change in allele frequencies that occurs over time within a population is called Microevolution.

SPECIATION:- It is a proces which completely comes under the topic evolution, It is that process in which a population changes into a different species and that why it sounds like 'SPECIES'..

MICROEVOLUTION DEFINITELY EXPLAINS SPECIATION.

EXAMPLES:-

#The hawthorn fly is an example of speciation based on a preference of egg-laying location.

#Another example of speciation in animals has occurred with orca whales in the Pacific Ocean. There are two types of orcas that inhabit the same area, but they don't interact or mate with each other.

#A common example is the modern elephant and the wooly mammoth.

(THESE EXAMPLES ARE REGARDLESS OF THE TYPES OF SPECIATION AS IN CLASS 10TH WE CAN'T GO THAT MUCH DEEP)

i hope this is helpful ❤️
