Mid Day meal scheme is a scheme which was initially started by government of tamil nadu and than to whole india by this scheme poor students attendence is increased. as in this meal at the time of lunch they get food from government both lower and upper cast sit together and eat which stops caste difference and at some places dalit women are taken for cooking it has many advantage like
a) reduce caste difference
b) helps poor children to study
