Midpoint= A point somewhere in the middle.
                 Like if a line AB have mid point C . It means the point C divides the                  line AB in two equal parts .(AC=CB)

Intersect= D
ivide (something) by passing or lying across it.
                 Like, two lines said to be intersecting if they are crossing each                          other at a single point.

remember don't confuse between intersect and bisect . bisect is different.
bisect something means divide something in two equal parts.

like bisecting a angle of 60
° gives u two equal angle of same degree (both angle are of 30° each)
but if we intersect a angle of 60° the values we get can be anything like the two angle may be of 40°and 20° , may be the two angles is of 12°and 48° ,etc.
