Meiosis is a type of cell division in which the no. of chromosomes in New cell is half the no. of chromosomes present in parent cell.......... It occurs during gamate formation...

Mitosis is a type of cell division in which the no. of chromosomes remain same in both cells...... It occurs during simple cell division in the body....

Mitosis :- Here 1 mother cell produce 2 daughter cells of its own kind.

Meiosis :- Here one mother cell produce 4 daughter cells and chromosome number get half in daughter cells.
