What is mole ?



- It is a fundamental physical quantity to measure the amount of a substance.


It is a collection of 6.022 × 10^23 particles of any substance or thing.



What is Molality ?



- Molality ( m ) is expressed as dissolved in hundred grams that is one kg of solvent. It is denoted by m.



- It is calculate by : m (  ) = moles of solute / kg of solvent



What is Molarity ?



- It is expressed as moles of solute contained in one litre of solution or it is also taken as millimoles of solute in 1 ml of solution. It is denoted by M.



- It is calculated by : Molarity ( M ) = moles of solute / litres of solution = millimoles of solute / millimetres of solution.
