Hey there,
Molarity is the concentration of solution expressed as the number of moles of solute per liter of solution
Molarity( M) = Moles of solute/ liters solution
Molality is measure of concentration of solute expressed as the amount of substance in a specified amount of mass of solvent.
Molality = 1 mole of solute/ dissolved in litres of solution
Hope it helps...

Molarity of a solution may be defined as the no. of moles of solute dissolved per litre solution.
Symbol :- M
Units :- mol/ L
Formula :- (No. of moles of solute) ÷ (Volume of solution in litres)
Molality of a solution may be defined as no. of moles of solute dissolved in 1 kg of solvent.
Symbol :- m
Units :- mol/kg
Formula :- (No. of moles of solute) ÷ (Mass pf solvent in kg)
