Molality ➡️Molality, also called molal concentration, is a measure of the concentration of a solute in a solution in terms of amount of substance in a specified amount of mass of the solvent. This contrasts with the definition of molarity which is based on a specified volume of solution

Molarity ➡️Molar concentration is a measure of the concentration of a chemical species, in particular of a solute in a solution, in terms of amount of substance per unit volume of solution.

What is mole ?

- It is a fundamental physical quantity to measure the amount of a substance.

It is a collection of 6.022 × 10^23 particles of any substance or thing.

What is Molality ?

- Molality ( m ) is expressed as dissolved in hundred grams that is one kg of solvent. It is denoted by m.

- It is calculate by : m (  ) = moles of solute / kg of solvent

What is Molarity ?

- It is expressed as moles of solute contained in one litre of solution or it is also taken as millimoles of solute in 1 ml of solution. It is denoted by M.

- It is calculated by : Molarity ( M ) = moles of solute / litres of solution = millimoles of solute / millimetres of solution.
