The molar mass M is a physical property defined as the mass of a given substance (chemical element or chemical compound) divided by the amount of substance. The base SI unit for molar mass is kg/mol.
However, for historical reasons, molar masses are almost always expressed in g/mol.
also that molar mass of O2=16*2=32g/mol
hope it helps you....

The molar mass of a substance is the mass of one mole i.e., 6.023 into 10²³ particles, of that substance. Its unit is g/mol i.e, g/mol. The molar mass of an element is its atomic mass express in g/mol and the molar mass of a compound is its molecular mass expressed in g/mol.
Molar mass of O² is 15.999 u .
