1) Mole: It is the unit to define amount of a given matter either in in terms of mass, no. of particles or in terms of volume.
2) Molarity : It is defined as the number of moles solute present in one litre of the solution.
2) Molality : The number of gram mole of solute present in 1000g of solvent is known as molality of solution.

- Molality ( m ) : It is defined as the number moles of a solute dissolved in 1 kg ( or 1000 grams) of a solvent.
- Mole : A mole of a substance or a mole of particles is defined as exactly 6.02214076×10²³ particles, which may be atoms, molecules, ions, or electrons.
