what is molarity of 40% of NaOH solution...??define it clear

40%means

40 gm NAOH in 100 gm water


So 40 GM means 1 mol of NAOH

.

So molarity=moles/volume of solution in litre.

Hence M=1/(100/1000) = 10 M
