The quantity of motion of a moving body, measured as a product of its mass and velocity. Mathematically
p = m×v (p is used for linear momentum)
It's SI unit is Kgms^-1
As foce = mass × acceleration
or F = m×a .....eq(1)
and p = m×v
so m = p/v now put value of m in eq (1)
so F = (p×a)/v
