Momentum is the product of the mass and velocity of the body.It is a vector quantity, its unit is kg-m/sec.

Momentum is simply defined as the product of mass(the quantity in a matter)  and velocity(the rate of change of displacement). 
Momentum= mass*velocity
Units:
C.G.S system= gm cm/sec
M.K.S system= kg m/sec.
