MONERA is one of the kingdom of Five kingdom system of classification given by Robert H. Whittaker.

They are prokaryotic organisms.
Membrane bound cell organelles are absent.
They are unicellular.


DIVERSITY

Monerans exhibit diversity in characteristics.
For example, some have cell walls while some do not.
Some of the monerans have an autotrophic mode of nutrition i.e., they can synthesize food on their own while some other have a heterotrophic mode of nutrition.
