It depends on the students wish and likes.

Explanation:

According to me, economics would be more better because it consists of

more social and cultural items. It is also more interesting and fun to study.

But taking marketing in plus one class, it would mostly consist of

mathematics which would feel hard or difficult for most of the students.

So it would be better if you take economics instead of maths.

Rest of it depends on you.
