What is most likely to happen to a population of mice that becomes isolated on an island?

When you leave mice on an isolated island, the population of mice will increase manifold.

Many different species of mice will be produced as offsprings because of the variety of landscape on that island.

Mice born near the water source would be different from those bred away from the water source.
