Answer:
Motion means displacement or change in the position of an object over time. It can be described in terms of displacement, distance, velocity etc. ... eg pushing a block is an example of linear motion, opening a door is an example of rotation, rotating stone with attached thread is an example of a circular motion.

Motion :- an object is said to be in motion if its position changes continuously with respect to a fixed reference point called origin.
Uniform Motion
- If a body cover equal distance in equal interval of time in a straight line then its motion is said to be uniform motion .
Non−Uniform Motion
- If a body cover unequal distance in equal interval of time then its motion is said to be non uniform motion .
KNOW MORE :-
Speed :-
- Speed of a body is defined as distance travelled by its per unit time.
- If a body cover a distance 's' in time 't' , then speed is mathematically expressed as
- Speed = Distance / Time
- Speed is a scalar quantity and its SI unit is m/s . A body moving in uniform motion is said to have uniform speed .
Velocity :-
- Velocity of a body is defined as its displacement per unit time.
- Velocity = displacement / time
- Velocity is a vector quantity and its SI unit is same as off speed m/s .
- It can be positive , negative or zero depending upon displacement of body.
