hey mate !
here's ur answer ⬇⬇⬇
definition: A rigid body when acted upon by a force moves , this movement of body is known as motion.
▶there are two kinds of motion:-
1)linear or translational motion
2)rotational motion.
_______________________________
▶ definition:-
(1)linear motion - when a force acts on a stationary rigid body which is free to move, the body starts moving in a straight path in the direction of force. This is called "linear motion".
(2)rotational motion - if the body is pivoted at a point and the force is applied on the body at a suitable point,it rotates the body About the axis passing through the pivoted point.
This turning effect of the force and the motion of body is called the "rotational motion".
Hope it's helpful !
